I was just part of interviews, and for the first time, i was on the other side.
It was absolutely fascinating. From the good and the bad, it was a real experience.
But it also made me feel that i need to get off my dumper and study new stuff.
But where o where do i begin!? from my research it seems knowing linux better than others can really be an asset, and while solaris is good, it may not have the longevity of other flavors.
ill have to ponder on this a bit more.

Well ill be darned. I'm actually employed. I honestly didn't see this coming, how sad is that?
And at a college too....my how the world turns. That's right folks, I'm now working at The Sage Colleges, troy campus, and so far, things are going great. The people are professional, yet nice and relaxed, and best of all, the management actually backs you up.
We will see how this goes, but so far, so good.

Ah, new work. After so many new jobs, working some for only a couple of days, i swear I'm beginning to feel like Mike Rowe on "dirty jobs", since I'm always the new guy.
Right now, I'm working at "Momentive" which is apparently the old GE chemical plant in waterford, ny. Its huge, dangerous, and very industrial : I love it.
As for the future, god only knows, and hes pretty smart, or so i here.

Hi yall, its been a while, but while studying for certifications, i came upon a job at the blue cross/blue shield building, for Wellpoint, via Dell. Its not gonna last apparently, since the project i was ment for got scrapped, but i might have something set up for Momentus, and it wouldnt really change my commute time all that much.
contracts are a funny business, and not the ha ha way. just a thought.

Yup, working for GE now, well, technically a contractor for GE, but i deal with scientists every day that will more than likely change the world.
but of course, they need their computers first.
that's where i come in.
everyone needs a computer, even if you don't know it yet.
ah well, hopefully they will keep me on, if not, oh well.

Oh boy, here it is, my birthday.
*sigh*.
24, while being pretty awesome, still doesnt allow me to rent a damn car, and somehow feels closer to 30 than i care to feel. but to think, only 6 years from now, i was 18, stupid (like everyone else who was ever 18), and just going to college. wow, what a trip it has been. and in another 6 years, i will be 30, amazing what 6 years can do, good or bad, to a person.
just some food for thought.
stay focused folks.

It has just occurred to me that other than friends, potential employers might grace this blog with their presence, and to that point, it would behoove me to make my resume available, and maybe even the other nice little profiles ive accumulated over these past years.
so, with that in mind, here is the latest RESUME
